I researched this a little more and according to a recent statement by Bruce, Image Entertainment and Dark Horse will release the film in theaters or DVD this year. So that's good to know but still leaves us a bit in the dark, so to speak. :/

I've been given conflicting answers on that question. Some say it's going to release this year in theaters, others say it'll go straight to DVD. I'll be sure to let everyone know once I get the official story. Until then, we can enjoy the trailer: [link]
